The first State of the Union Address by President Donald J. Trump
On January 30, 2018, President Donald J. Trump delivered his first State of the Union Address. He outlined the record-setting accomplishments of his first year and cast an inspiring vision for building a safe, strong, and proud America.

The IntenCheck analyzes across 26 different categories split into 7 groups. The groups correspond to the Tone and Communicative Style analysis.
Attitude group of categories showed us that the State of Union speech is Positive , Strong  and Active .
When looking at the examples that President Trump provided during the State of the Union address, the Intencheck analysis showed that the dominating Emotions are Sadness  and Fear .
Insincerity  category showed that the speech was very precise and objective, where no indication of vagueness present.
Communication Style analysis showed that President Trump was speaking very logically, where Rational  perception was dominating. There is very little indication of Visual  or Audial  channels of information present.
The major accent of the speech within the Timeline and Motivation groups of categories was towards the Future  plans and direction of the movement is Toward  something.
To illustrate his point during the State of the Union address, Trump spoke a lot about particular people – Perceptual Position III  (They) as well as using unifying rhetoric such as “We”and “Us” Perceptual Position IV .
